💬 You’re Not Lazy — You’re Overwhelmed (And I Know That Feeling Personally)

Stillness is where clarity begins

When I went on maternity leave, I thought I’d be returning to my job as planned. But shortly before I was supposed to go back, I found out I wasn’t coming back at all.

I had a newborn, a family to support, and no roadmap. I remember feeling stuck — not just logistically, but emotionally. I was overwhelmed, unsure, and trying to figure out what came next while pretending I was fine.

That experience was a turning point. It taught me how deeply uncertainty can paralyze us. It also taught me that asking for help — especially when you're already drained — often feels out of reach.

That’s one of the reasons I created Twin Roses Professional Coaching and why I offer pay-what-you-can sessions.

Because I’ve been in that place where money is tight and self-doubt is loud. Because I believe support should be accessible — not one more thing to feel stressed about.

And honestly? 2025 has already been brutal for job seekers. Layoffs, ghosting, and long application processes have left so many people feeling stuck and unsure — especially those early in their careers or returning after time away.

If you're in that space — whether you’ve been laid off, you’re in a post-grad fog, or you’re just emotionally tapped out — I want you to hear this:

You’re not lazy. You’re overwhelmed. And that doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re human.

Whether you're looking for career direction, motivation, or someone to help you sort through the mental clutter, I’m here to walk beside you.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. Let’s take the first step — together.
